Today, fewer than thirty remain but with Dishoom drawing upon the heritage and legacy of these cafes and its all day menu paying homage to the cuisine of Bombay, the memory won't soon be forgotten. Foundry are delighted to have completed the lighting design for the refurbishment and extension to Dishoom Covent Garden. Original Bombay cafes were all the rage in India in the 1960s, with almost four hundred popping up around the city. Nestled away on St Martin's Lane in Covent Garden, this Bombay café brings a slice of authentic India to central London with its elegant design and tempting menu. Indian cuisine in London can be something of a mixed bag at times but when it comes to Dishoom, there's very little that fails to tick the boxes.
